The first in a series of trainings within the project “Free Legal Aid for Marginalized Groups” on the topic of writing effective public policy suggestions and conducting research was held in Budva. The training lasted for three days and gathered both the participants from the partner organizations – CEMI, HELP, Adria, Bonum; as well as representatives of the most significant civil society organizations in Montenegro (representing the rights of certain marginalized groups) – SŽK, UMHCG, SOS Nk, the Legal Center…
Except for the local trainers – ZlatkoVujovic and BrankaTodorovic, Mrs. Anka Kekez Kostro, Assistant at the Croatian Faculty of Political Sciences participated. She held the part of the training on design and research methods. The aim of the training was to familiarize the participants with research methods and public legal representation on the basis of facts in order to approach the implementation of other activities within the project in the best possible way. Special care is to be taken in public advocacyrelating to implementing the Law on Free Legal Aid, increasing the rights of the users of the Law and possible amendments of the Law.
