The Law on Prevention of Corruption, adopted in December 2014, came into force on th 1st of January 2016, simultaneously with the beginning of work of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption established by this law. Even before official start of its work, the Agency faced numerous problems. The aim of this policy brief is to analyze legal framework for the Agency’s functioning, capacities at its disposal and effects of its work in the first two months of its existence, as well as to propose ways for solution of existing problems and obstacles for full efficiency of the Agency.
