CeMI presented to Mr. Eduard AUER from EEAS Policy Brief about current political crisis in Montenegro

Delegation of Centre for Monitoring and Research – CeMI and CGO had a meeting with Mr. Eduard AUER, Head of Division Western Balkans, European External Action Service (EEAS) on November 3, in Brussels.

On the meeting there were: five members of CeMI, Zlatko Vujovic, President of the Governing Board, Nikoleta Tomovic, Executive Director, Marko Savic, Head of Public Policy Research Deprtmenet, Milena Nikolic, Research Coordinator and  Teodora Gilic, Communication Officer as well as Daliborka Uljarevic, Executive Director of Centre for Civic Education – CGO.

The meeting was organized in order to present Policy Brief “Political Crisis in Montenegro: Between Toward and Towards to solution“. The policy brief is consisted of three themes: boycott of the Parliament by all opposition parties and forthcoming electoral reform, political pressure on the RTCG Council and issue of position of NGOs in Montenegro and it will be published by November 15, 2017.

Representatives of CeMI and CGO discussed with Mr. AUER the current political crisis and recommendations to overcome it, which are emphasized in the brief.

The trainig was organized within the project “Raising CeMI’s Policy Expertise and Policy Impacton the national and international level“, which is financed by Open Society Institutions – Think Tank Fund.
