From March 31st to May 2nd at the Hotel Castellastva in Petrovac, a three-day seminar was held on project management for the subgrantees within the project “Judicial Reform: Upgrading CSO’s capacities to contribute to the integrity of the judiciary”, financed by the European Union.

Participants were representatives of local NGOs that got the grant with the goal of increasing their capacities to contribute to the integrity of the judiciary.

Lectures were given by experienced experts with significant experience in the area of project management.

During the first day of the seminar, grantees had the chance to meet the lecturers and other participants with their organization and project for which they have gotten the grant. Also, on the first day, the goals and the work programme of the training itself were presented.

During the second day of the seminar, participants had the chance to find out more about activities that follow the signing of the contract, such as reporting, secondary procurement, communication and visibility and monitoring and evaluation. During each segment of the training, participants had the opportunity through the practical part of the seminar i.e. exercises to demonstrate the acquired knowledge in a concrete way.

During the third day, the focus of the training was on practical work, through findings about activity planning and their realization. At the end of the seminar, participants and lecturers together summed up the acquired knowledge and experiences.
