The Centre for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) announces a call for small grants to CSOs with the goal of supporting the achievement of a higher level of democracy and rule of law in Montenegro, with the focus on judicial reform.
The call is announced in partnership with the Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CEDEM) within the project “Judicial Reform: Upgrading CSO’s capacities to contribute to the integrity of judiciary”, financed by the European Union, through the IPA programme.
“Project suggestions in the amount of 5,000 to 8,000 EUR can be delivered no later than March 30th, 2019 (11.59 a.m.) The total budget for allocation of resources is 32,128 EUR”, it is stated in the announcement.
The projects will be implemented with the goal of supporting the current reform of the judiciary in Montenegro by increasing the participation of the civil sector in monitoring trials and/or the process of creating policies so as to improve the level of professionalism and integrity in the judiciary.
