Centre for Monitoring and Research CeMI organized a seminar from 6th – 8th October 2015 in hotel “Iberostar Bellevue” in Becici. The seminar is the first out of three planned seminars within the project “Strengthening of investigation capacities in Montenegro – Usage of negotiating mechanisms for efficient investigation” which is being realized with the support of Embassy of Kingdom of the Netherlands. The project aims to contribute to the improvement of efficiency of justice system of Montenegro through strengthening capacities of judges, prosecutors and lawyers for implementation of institute plea agreement and deferred prosecution by gaining theoretical and practical knowledge on comparative justice systems.
Within the introduction part of the seminar, the judge of the Supreme Court of Montenegro, Mr. Miras Radovic, deputy of Supreme State Prosecutor, Mrs. Miljana Radovic, president of Bar Association of Montenegro, Mr. Zdravko Begovic, and director of Legal department in CeMI, Mr. Vlado Dedovic, spoke to the participants.
Lecturers on the first seminar were professors of Faculty of Law of University in Nijmenegen from the Netherlands, prof. Piet Hein van Kempen, PhD, and Sven Brinkhoff, PhD.
