Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro, Colonel Zoran Lazarevic, held a lecture at the School of Euro-Atlantic Integration for Youth

On October the 2nd, within the project „School of Euro-Atlantic Integration for Youth – III generation“, Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro, Colonel Lazarevic, held a lecture to the students of this school. The topic of the lecture was „Reform of the Defence Sector of Montenegro: Army of Montenegro and NATO“.

Colonel Lazarevic spoke about reform process of the Montenegrin army, adoption of the NATO standards and results that have so far been accomplished in the NATO integration of Montenegro. Lazarevic also explained obligations and powers of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, its internal structure and participation of its members in peace-keeping missions in Afghanistan, Liberia, Somalia and Mali. Students were very interested in educational opportunities for Montenegrin cadets on prestigious military academies in the world, as well as other forms of improvement available to young soldiers.
